Introducing the TaylorMade M1 Fairway Wood, performance for every swing. The M1 is TM's first fairway wood to feature a carbon fibre crown, as with the M1 driver the fairway's multi material construction allows for discretionary weight to be moved for a lower CG, this is thanks to the split sliding weights on the sole of the M1 fairway, two 15g weights allow the golfer to personalise the club to their requirements, maximising performance and consistency. The M stands for multi-material, the key to unlocking the unrivalled performance of the M1 Fairway. A proprietary 7-layer carbon composite crown that is precision formed and engineered to be ultra-thin, ultra-light and high strength maximises weight savings in the head. This allows for a weight-loaded sole and more overall clubhead weight, in turn lowering the centre of gravity for a more efficient power transfer, giving golfers more ball speed. By using a carbon composite crown it also allowed TM's engineers to give golfers 30g of directional adjustability. Like it's predecessor the R15 the new M1 utilises the same front track system, only now it features two sliding weights. This movable weight system shifts the clubhead’s CG horizontally, by having the weights split to the widest positions it will promote maximum forgiveness, both in the centre position will deliver a lower ball flight, while toward either the heel, to promote a draw, or toward the toe, to promote a fade. The M1 also incorporates an adjustable Loft-sleeve, which allows you to adjust the loft more than ever. You can choose from a range positions within a range of plus-or-minus 2 degrees of loft change, giving a full 4 degrees of loft adjustment. Multi-Material Construction: M stands for Multi-Material and it’s the key that unlocks performance in M1. This construction is highlighted by our proprietary 7-layer Carbon Composite Crown that is precision-formed and built ultra-thin, ultra-lite and high strength to maximize weight savings. This addition has allowed us to build a weight-loaded sole and move overall clubhead weight (and, thus, the center-of-gravity) lower for a more efficient power transfer; giving golfers more ball speed. The Carbon Composite Crown as also allowed us to give golfers 25 grams of multi-directional adjustability, allowing them to personalize launch conditions – fit to their swing - and optimize ball-flight, trajectory and, ultimately, distance. Front Track System: To make our longest, just that for a wide range of golfers, we needed to expand the settings to give golfers more options to personalize performance to fit their game. M1 features the revolutionary Front Track System that consists of two 15g adjustable weights: Wide Position: Both weights at opposite ends of the track delivers maximum forgiveness Centre Position: Both weights in the centre of the track offers a lower ball flight Draw Position: Both weights set towards the heel of the club provides maximum draw Fade Position: Both weights set towards the toe of the club delivers maximum fade
